Questions we get every week
How much roof area do I need?
Roughly 80–100 sq ft of shade-free area per kW on an RCC roof. A 3 kW home system needs about 250–300 sq ft.
What subsidy can I claim?
Residential rooftop systems under PM Surya Ghar receive up to ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above, subject to scheme rules at the time of application.
What happens during a power cut?
On-grid plants shut down for safety. Choose hybrid with battery backup if you need power to continue through outages.
